The Clinical Coordinator will be working with Young Adults, ages 18-24 who have a serious mental illness or serious emotional disturbance. The position requires the Clinical Coordinator to possess expertise managing clinical issues including substance use disorders, mental health and cognitive disabilities.

Duties:
– Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient care
– Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar and supervise and evaluate Fee for Service staff and interns
– Oversee EHR workflows and all clinic procedure
– Collect patient information and update medical records
– Deliver agency and in-service trainings; promote staff development to ensure clinic staff possess core competencies to effectively treat clients
– Review treatment plans of clinical staff
– Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to clients
– Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:
– LMSW required – LCSW preferred
– Previous experience working in a medical clinic or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable including supervisory experience
– Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
– Working knowledge of various computer programs including e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows Operating System and record systems for documentation and record keeping
– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
